The Community Pool is an independent directory of 10 UK public swimming pools, indexed across 1 city. Every pool carries an access score (median 74/100) and a verified water temperature (median 28.1°C).

What we do

We help swimmers decide where to swim. Every page solves a specific question: which pools have free parking, which is cheaper per swim, how crowded is the 7 am lane, does a monthly pass pay off given my usage. The site is a tool, not a magazine.

We are not a booking engine. Links out go to the operator’s own booking page when one exists.

Who we are

An independent UK-based team. We built the directory after finding that existing pool listings were either operator marketing or stale crowd-sourced Wikipedia-style pages — neither answered the questions a swimmer actually has before travelling to a pool.

How we stay independent

We do not take payment from pool operators for inclusion, ranking or reviews. We do not run third-party advertising. Data sources and the access-score formula are documented on the methodology page; our editorial verification process is on the editorial policy page.
